the 1980's, Modutemp has achieved an enviable reputation as
specialist furnace and oven manufacturers for laboratories,
research houses and small-scale manufacturers. This reputation
is founded on expertise developed in the selection and
application of modern refractory materials together with the
design of element arrays and their control systems, to achieve
optimum performance. The ability to fine-tune a standard product
to ideally suit a client's application and a policy of

While continuing to provide quality repair services to
Western Australian and Australian users, Modutemp products are
now used in laboratories throughout Australia as well as
Antarctica, Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, South
America, Thailand, USA and Vietnam.
 Australian
clients include most major and many smaller mining companies,
industrial ceramics producers, research centres, Universities,
etc.
Modutemp's range of products has expanded to include
laboratory hotplates, calibration equipment, sample driers,
water baths, temperature controllers, heating elements, etc. An
important growth area since the mid 1990's has been the
specialist computer systems and software for logging and
automating heat treatment facilities.
Our specialist team brings together expertise in all areas of
oven and furnace design, construction and control for electric
or oil operation. Increasingly, complying with stringent
emission requirements is a necessary part of furnace design and
